(of a woman) devastatingly beautiful; lit. capable of causing the downfall of a city or state. Originally from a poem in the Book of Han, this idiom describes a woman whose beauty is so great that it could cause the collapse of a kingdom. Also written as 倾城倾国 qīng​chéng​qīng​guó.
