Liu Yuan (died 310), a Xiongnu leader and founder of the Han state (known in history as Former Han or Han Zhao) during the Sixteen Kingdoms period. He rose to power during the War of the Eight Princes in the Western Jin dynasty; posthumously known as Emperor Guangwen with the temple name 高祖 gāo​zǔ
