Grand Marshal
An ancient Chinese official title. During the Zhou Dynasty, it was one of the six high offices responsible for military and state affairs; in later dynasties, it evolved into a senior ministerial post, often used as an alias for the Minister of War in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
