- A legendary character from the Song Dynasty novel "The Biography of Concubine Mei," said to be a favorite concubine of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. Originally named 江采苹 jiāngcǎipíng, she was famously fond of plum blossoms and was later cast aside due to the jealousy of 杨贵妃 yángguìfēi. While some traditions treat her as historical, she is widely considered a fictional figure created by later authors.
