盛宣怀 盛宣懷 shèng​xuān​huái
Sheng Xuanhuai
(1845–1916) influential Qing Dynasty official and industrialist who founded the China Merchants' Steam Navigation Company and several major mining and telecommunications enterprises. His 1911 policy to nationalize local railways helped trigger the Sichuan 保路运动 bǎo​lù​yùn​dòng, leading to the Xinhai Revolution.
