Ji Yun (1724-1805), a prominent writer, scholar, and official of the Qing Dynasty, also known as 纪晓岚jìxiǎolán; he was the chief editor of the "Complete Library of the Four Treasuries" (四库全书sìkùquánshū) and author of the supernatural collection "Notes on a Minutely Observed Thatched Hut" (阅微草堂笔记yuèwēicǎotángbǐjì)
