- Weng Tonghe (1830–1904), a prominent Chinese statesman, literati, and calligrapher of the late Qing Dynasty; served as a high-ranking official and tutor to the Tongzhi and Guangxu Emperors, and was a supporter of the Hundred Days' Reform before being dismissed.
