A high official of the State of Jin during the Spring and Autumn period (died 541 BC), also known as 赵文子zhàowénzǐ or 赵孟zhàomèng; he was the central figure in the Orphan of Zhao story, having survived the massacre of his family as an infant through the protection of Cheng Ying and Gongsun Chujiu.
