I think this "欮,瘚或省疒" is saying 欮 is 瘚 without the 疒. I didn't see anything about hiccups. Xu Kai's commentary explains the components. Maybe there is a more modern and correct explanation.
A TCM disease associated with fainting. Abbreviated form of 瘚. Hiccups are also a mild form of uprising qi counterflow, but 瘚 refers specifically to circulatory collapse and fainting.
