- A prominent official of the Eastern Han Dynasty known for opposing the power of palace eunuchs. After plotting to eliminate the eunuchs 曹节 cáojié and 王甫 wángfǔ with General 窦武 dòuwǔ, he was killed when the plan was discovered.
