Literally meaning "to love the mountains and love the waters," this phrase is used to describe how different people have different temperaments and preferences. Originally from the [[论语|論語|lun2 yu3]], where it contrasts the wise who enjoy the movement of water and the virtuous who enjoy the stillness of mountains.
