孔伋 kǒngjí Kong Ji
Kong Ji (492–431 BC), courtesy name Zisi, the grandson of [[孔子|孔子|kong3 zi3]] and a philosopher to whom the lineage of [[孟子|孟子|meng4 zi3]] is traced; he is traditionally credited with writing the Doctrine of the Mean and is known as the "Transmitting Sage" (Shusheng)
