A massive 100-volume encyclopedia of Chinese calligraphy and painting commissioned by the Kangxi Emperor (completed in 1708). It catalogs historical theories, artist biographies, inscriptions, and authentication records. Also known as 御定佩文斋书画谱yùdìngpèiwénzhāishūhuàpǔ.
