The group includes [[韩愈|韓愈|han2 yu4]] and [[柳宗元|柳宗元|liu3 zong1 yuan2]] from the Tang dynasty, and [[欧阳修|歐陽修|ou1 yang2 xiu1]], [[苏洵|蘇洵|su1 xun2]], [[苏轼|蘇軾|su1 shi4]], [[苏辙|蘇轍|su1 zhe2]], [[王安石|王安石|wang2 an1 shi2]], and [[曾巩|曾鞏|zeng1 gong3]] from the Song dynasty.
