- 恽寿平 yùnshòupíng Yun Shouping(1633–1690) Famous Qing Dynasty painter and calligrapher, also known as [[恽格|惲格|yun4 ge2]]; a master of the Changzhou School known for his flower paintings and calligraphy.
- 恽敬 yùnjìng Yun JingYun Jing (1757–1817), a Qing dynasty writer from Jiangsu province; he was a leader of the Yanghu school of prose and noted for his clean and rigorous writing style, as seen in his collection "Dayun Shanfang Wengao".

- 杨恽 yángyùn Yang YunA famous scholar and official of the Western Han dynasty who was the grandson of historian Sima Qian. He was known for his integrity but also his arrogance and tendency to expose the secrets of others, which eventually led to his execution after he expressed resentment in a famous letter to his friend Sun Huizong.
