Songtsen Gampo
Songtsen Gampo (604-650 or 617-650); the founder of the Tibetan Empire who unified Tibet and established the Tubo 吐蕃 tǔ​bō dynasty. He is celebrated for introducing Buddhism to Tibet, creating the Tibetan script based on Sanskrit, and marrying Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty.
