Peking Man; an early human relative discovered in Zhoukoudian, China, dating to around 700,000 to 200,000 years ago

An early subspecies of Homo erectus discovered in 1963 in Lantian County, Shaanxi Province, China. Their physical features are considered more primitive than those of [[北京猿人|北京猿人|bei3 jing1 yuan2 ren2]] or Java Man.
