Xia Gui (c. 1180–1230), also known as [[夏圭|夏圭|xia4 gui1]], a prominent landscape painter of the Southern Song Dynasty. One of the Four Masters of the Southern Song, he was known for his simplified 'half-side' compositions which earned him the nickname 'Xia Half-side'
