见笑大方 jiànxiàodàfāng to incur the ridicule of experts
To be laughed at by people who are knowledgeable or expert in a certain field; often used as a self-deprecating humble expression. Originally from the Autumn Waters chapter of the Zhuangzi: "I shall long be laughed at by the masters of the Great Way"
