A famous piece of prose written by [[李密|李密|li3 mi4]] of the Jin Dynasty. In this memorial to Emperor Wu, he respectfully declines a government post to care for his aging grandmother. It is celebrated as one of China's most moving works of literature on the theme of filial piety.
