Nāgārjuna (c. 150-250 AD); an influential Indian Buddhist philosopher and monk who founded the Madhyamaka school of Mahayana Buddhism. He is revered in Chinese Buddhism as the common ancestor of eight different traditions. Also known as 龙猛 lóng​měng or 龙胜 lóng​shèng.
