Xia Gui (c. 1180–1230), also known as 夏圭 xià​guī, a prominent landscape painter of the Southern Song Dynasty. One of the Four Masters of the Southern Song, he was known for his simplified 'half-side' compositions which earned him the nickname 'Xia Half-side'
