Kong Shangren (1648–1718), a Qing dynasty dramatist and poet known for his work in the 'chuanqi' style; best known as the author of 桃花扇 táo​huā​shàn and ranked alongside 洪昇 hóng​shēng as one of the two greatest playwrights of the era.
