    Northern Qi Dynasty eminent monk (c. 515–577) who was the second patriarch of the Tiantai school of Buddhism. He is credited with developing the Threefold Contemplation in a Single Mind method based on his study of the "Dazhidu Lun" and the "Mulamadhyamakakarika".
