A political treatise by the Qing dynasty scholar 黄宗羲 huáng​zōng​xī. It offers a radical critique of absolute monarchy and argues for a people-centered government; it was later banned during the Qianlong era but significantly influenced the development of democratic thought in late 19th-century China.
