A central female character in the classic Chinese novel 红楼梦 hóng​lóu​mèng, also known by the courtesy name Gōngcái and the pseudonym Dàoxiāng lǎonóng; she is the widowed sister-in-law of the protagonist 贾宝玉 jiǎ​bǎo​yù, depicted as a virtuous and modest widow devoted to raising her son.
