    The World Inside a Pillow

    A famous Tang Dynasty story by Shen Jiji which tells of a young scholar who falls asleep on a magic pillow while a pot of millet is cooking. In his dream, he lives a full life of success and failure, but awakens to find the millet is still not even cooked. This story is the source of the idiom [[黄粱一梦|黃粱一夢|huang2 liang2 yi1 meng4]], meaning life's glory is fleeting.
