浣花溪 huàn​huā​xī (also wǎn​huā​xī) Huanhua Stream

A famous stream in the western suburbs of Chengdu, Sichuan, known for being the site of the 杜甫 dù​fǔ Thatched Cottage. It is associated with the Tang dynasty poet 薛涛 xuē​tāo, who used its water to make decorative paper known as Huanhua stationery.
