澄观/ 澄觀 chéng​guān Chengguan

(738-839) High monk of the Tang Dynasty and the fourth patriarch of the Huayan school of Buddhism; also known as the Qingliang National Master. He was famous for his extensive commentaries on the "Avatamsaka Sutra" and for integrating Zen thought into his teachings.
