Xiping Stone Classics

A collection of Confucian classics carved into stone steles during the reign of Emperor Ling of the Eastern Han dynasty, specifically between 175 and 183 AD. Written in clerical script by scholars such as 蔡邕|cai4 yong1, these carvings established the first official state version of the Seven Classics. Originally erected at the Imperial Academy in Luoyang, they are also known as the 一體石經|yi1 ti3 shi2 jing1 or 漢石經|han4 shi2 jing1.
