真武大帝 zhēn​wǔ​dà​dì Zhenwu Emperor

The Great Emperor of True Might, a powerful god in Chinese religion and Taoism who rules over the northern direction. Historically renamed from 玄武 xuán​wǔ to avoid a naming taboo, he is often depicted barefoot with long hair, holding a sword and treading upon a tortoise and a snake. He is worshipped for longevity and protection against evil.
