    Shiniu Road

    An ancient mountain road connecting the Hanzhong basin in Shaanxi to the Sichuan basin, also known as [[金牛道|金牛道|jin1 niu2 dao4]]. According to legend, King Huiwen of Qin tricked the King of Shu into building the path by placing gold under stone oxen and claiming they could produce gold in their droppings.
