A type of traditional local opera popular in Shaanxi Province, characterized by its soft melodies and the use of a small brass bowl as a percussion instrument; it developed from shadow puppetry and is also known as 灯盏碗碗腔 dēng​zhǎn​wǎn​wǎn​qiāng.
