Fan Kuan (c. 950–c. 1032), a master landscape painter of the Northern Song Dynasty; best known for his monumental work [[溪山行旅图|谿山行旅圖|xi1 shan1 xing2 lu:3 tu2]] and for establishing the Northern landscape style alongside painters such as [[关仝|關仝|guan1 tong2]] and [[李成|李成|li3 cheng2]].
