赛金花/ 賽金花 sàijīnhuā Sai Jinhua
A famous late Qing dynasty courtesan (1875-1937) who was married to diplomat 洪钧 hóngjūn and later reportedly used her relationship with German General 瓦德西 wǎdéxī to protect Beijing civilians during the Boxer Rebellion.
