Tongji Canal

The first major section of the Sui Dynasty Grand Canal, built in 605 AD, connecting the Yellow River and Huai River; also known as the [[汴河|汴河|bian4 he2]] or [[汴渠|汴渠|bian4 qu2]] during the Tang and Song dynasties.
