    (1551–1612) A famous calligrapher, painter, and poet of the Ming Dynasty; he was particularly known for following the style of [[王羲之|王羲之|wang2 xi1 zhi1]] and was often compared to his contemporary [[董其昌|董其昌|dong3 qi2 chang1]] in the phrase 'Xing of the North and Dong of the South'.
