阿房宫/ 阿房宮 ē​fáng​gōng (also ē​páng​gōng) Epang Palace

A massive palace complex in the western suburbs of present-day Xi'an, built by the first emperor 秦始皇 qín​shǐ​huáng starting in 212 BC and reportedly burned down by Xiang Yu during the fall of the Qin dynasty.
