隔日热/ 隔日熱 gérìrè tertian malaria
A type of malaria characterized by fever paroxysms that occur every other day, or roughly every 48 hours. Symptoms often include chills, high fever, and sweating. It is distinguished from 三日热 sānrìrè and 恶性热 èxìngrè.
