Rectangular tiles used for gaming or gambling, traditionally made of bone, ivory, bamboo, or plastic. A set usually consists of 32 tiles marked with dots ranging from 2 to 12. Also called 牙牌 yá​pái or 牌九 pái​jiǔ.

A game where tiles are lined up and toppled, creating a chain reaction where each falling tile knocks down the next. The term is also used to describe a chain reaction of events.
