A traditional festival occurring on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month based on the legend of the Cowherd [[牛郎|牛郎|niu2 lang2]] and the Weaving Maid [[织女|織女|zhi1 nu:3]]; often referred to as Chinese Valentine's Day.
