A foundational Buddhist scripture of the Pure Land tradition, describing the vows of 阿弥陀佛 ē​mí​tuó​fó and the nature of the Western Pure Land. Along with the 观无量寿佛经 guān​wú​liàng​shòu​fó​jīng and the 阿弥陀经 ē​mí​tuó​jīng, it is one of the Three Pure Land Sutras.
