- A mythical winged dragon from ancient Chinese legends, associated with water and rain. In mythology, this dragon assisted 黄帝 huángdì in defeating 蚩尤 chīyóu and 夸父 kuāfù, and also helped 大禹 dàyǔ control the Great Flood by using its tail to carve out the paths of rivers.
