Su Xun (1009-1066), famous Northern Song dynasty essayist and literary figure. He was the father of [[苏轼|蘇軾|su1 shi4]] and [[苏辙|蘇轍|su1 zhe2]]. Along with his sons, he is known as one of the [[三苏|三蘇|san1 su1]], and is also counted among the [[唐宋八大家|唐宋八大家|tang2 song4 ba1 da4 jia1]].
