An influential philosopher from the state of Song during the Warring States period, also known as [[宋钘|宋鈃|song4 xing2]] or [[宋荣子|宋榮子|song4 rong2 zi3]]; he was respected by Mencius and Zhuangzi and was known for advocating pacifism, self-restraint, and frugality.
