A historical play written by [[吴晗|吳晗|wu2 han2]] in 1960. It tells the story of the honest Ming official [[海瑞|海瑞|hai3 rui4]] being fired for challenging power; its criticism by the Communist Party served as the opening act of the Cultural Revolution.
