- Xing Tong
- (1551–1612) A famous calligrapher, painter, and poet of the Ming Dynasty; he was particularly known for following the style of 王羲之 wángxīzhī and was often compared to his contemporary 董其昌 dǒngqíchāng in the phrase 'Xing of the North and Dong of the South'.
