The goddess of drought in Chinese mythology, according to the Classic of Mountains and Seas. She is said to be the daughter of the Yellow Emperor, [[黄帝|黃帝|huang2 di4]], and helped him defeat [[蚩尤|蚩尤|chi1 you2]] by stopping the storms of the wind and rain gods.

A mythological demon believed to cause droughts; in legends, it is described as a ghost-like creature with eyes on top of its head that travels as fast as the wind.
