Late Tang Dynasty poet and lyricist (c. 812–870), known for his ornate style and as a pioneer of the song lyric form. Renowned for his quick wit, he was nicknamed "Eight-Overlaps Wen" because he could complete an eight-rhyme poem in the time it took to clasp his hands eight times. He is often associated with [[李商隐|李商隱|li3 shang1 yin3]] as the representative writers of the late Tang period.

Zhu Yun (1729–1781), a famous Qing Dynasty scholar, calligrapher, and bibliophile from Daxing (modern-day Beijing). He is best known for proposing the compilation of the [[四库全书|四庫全書|si4 ku4 quan2 shu1]] and for his expertise in ancient inscriptions and seal script calligraphy.

Famous painter, calligrapher, and writer of the Jin Dynasty (1151-1202); known for his poetry and his paintings of withered trees and bamboo.
