    A mythical winged dragon from ancient Chinese legends, associated with water and rain. In mythology, this dragon assisted [[黄帝|黃帝|huang2 di4]] in defeating [[蚩尤|蚩尤|chi1 you2]] and [[夸父|夸父|kua1 fu4]], and also helped [[大禹|大禹|da4 yu3]] control the Great Flood by using its tail to carve out the paths of rivers.
